The item we are offering is a wonderful handmade custom sign — perfect for businesses, events, and personal decor. We take your graphic or logo and turn it into a high-quality wood sign, or we can help create a new design from scratch.

The sign shown is an example of one we created for a mobile bar business.

It features laser-cut plywood letters and graphics. Your custom sign will not come standard with this lettering — every part can be customized to fit your needs. This example has an unframed, white painted backerboard with black painted letters and graphics, the small line of letters at the bottom are UV printed.

The tagline you see on the sign here is uv printed, this is a mixed technique we use when we want to capture the fine details of the logo. There is an additional charge for two techniques. Not all logos require this, please message for additional information to this feature.

Unlike printed signs, the lettering and images are individually cut pieces of plywood, giving your sign a raised, 3D effect. Each piece is painted and finished based on your specifications.

Please note:

Hanging hardware is NOT included. We do not provide or sell hanging hardware. It is up to the customer to install the appropriate hardware for their installation needs. If you plan to hang the sign from the top, make sure any hooks are secured into the main body of the sign — not just the frame. We are not responsible for damage due to improper hanging.

We offer several finish options:

Indoor: For indoor use only.

Outdoor: Suitable for covered outdoor areas (like porches or awnings).

Raincoat: For fully exposed outdoor use. We highly recommend upgrading to the Raincoat finish if your sign will be outside with no protection.

Using Your Logo:
If you would like your logo used, please send us a high-resolution graphic file after purchase (or even before!).
We accept files through Etsy messages or by email: sales [!at] footstepsinthepast.com.
For best results, please send:

300 DPI or larger

2000px x 2000px minimum size

Preferred file types: .AI, .EPS, .PDF
(If you are using Canva, please go to "File" > "Download" > choose "PDF Standard" format.)

Mockups:
We always send a digital proof (mockup) for you to review and approve before production. Please keep an eye on your Etsy messages and email (including your spam folder!) to avoid delays.
