The item we are offering is a wonderful handmade business sign. We take your graphic and turn it into a custom wood sign or we can start from scratch.
This is an example of a business sign we have made.
It has laser cut plywood letters and graphics. Your custom sign will NOT come standard with these graphics or lettering. All components can be customized. This sign has a solid wood frame stained ebony, medium brown stained backer backerboard, and black painted letters.
The lettering is not painted on, they are plywood letters that stand off the backboard. Please see the photos. Each piece is painted to be as close to the customers' needs as possible.
Pricing does include customization and shipping to the USA, we can also ship to Canada for free, but may have associated duty fees.
**HANGING HARDWARE IS NOT INCLUDED** We do not include or sell hanging hardware. It is up to the customer to install the hardware that is appropriate for their own needs. If hanging the sign by the top, please make sure the hooks go through the frame and into the sign body. We are not responsible for damage if it is not hung correctly.
We offer several finish options. Indoor – for indoors only. Outdoor – appropriate for outdoor use but under some protection from the weather (porch, awning, etc.). Raincoat – hanging outdoors with no protection. We highly recommend upgrading your finish to the Raincoat sealer option, if no protection, you can find the RAINCOAT sealer in the following linked listing:

If you would like a logo used, please send us a high-resolution graphic file before or after purchase in a message or email to us! You can send us a message (Click on Contact Seller) or email (sales@footstepsinthepast.com) with your logo attached. For best results, we prefer 300 dpi or larger or the resolution to be 2000px x 2000px or larger or an .ai, .eps, or .pdf. If this is from Canva, please go to File, Download, save as PDF Standard.
We always send mockups of our custom signs, which we can do before or after purchase!

I ordered the 14 x 72 sign and it looks exactly as I expected. The reason for 4 stars is partially my fault for not asking more questions before purchasing. When I read in the description that it was made of plywood, I expected it to be more substantial than it is. With the intention of using chain to suspend the sign from the stand, we determined that due to the thin board, the wind would rip the chains out. By adding additional boards to the stand it feels more substantial and hopefully will now withstand the weather. I added the raincoat sealer to my order to ensure that this lovely sign last for a long time.

I bought the sign to go on my goat barn but didn't expect the sign to be made the way it is. Looks to be glued and stapled together and not very sturdy. It's aesthetically pretty, but don't think it'll withstand the elements, not even a little bit.

The personalized item I ordered arrived very quickly. Due to the size I did not take it out of the box until it was given as a gift. At that time I noticed it ha been damaged in shipping.
